The International Fischer Symposium (IFS) is a conference gathering 100 to 120 attendees in a friendly atmosphere every 3 years. Since its early editions in Karlsruhe, under the auspices of Prof. W. Lorenz, the IFS has traditionally been the place where the relations between electrochemistry and other fields of science are discussed and interdisciplinary approaches are developed. We hope to gather experimentalists and theoreticians, who are working on or are interested in the field of electrochemistry at the nanometer scale, including but not limited to:

The four-day conference features invited talks of 40 min., given by leaders in their fields, contributed talks (20 min. incl. discussion), and poster presentations.

Abstract submission deadline has been extended to March 2nd, 2025

We gratefully acknowledge financial support by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) and the Fonds der Chemischen Industrie (FCI). The 16th IFS is an ISE sponsored meeting.
